What's all the dancing about? Where is the Disco and what is an Elysium?

Disco Elysium is the psychological dance of a hungover dectective in the district of Martinaise. Martinaise, of course, being in the 'Grand' city of Ravechol.

You are Harrier Du Bois, born in '07. Self proclaimed 'God Cop' who has spent the last week pilfering, disturbing and simply annoying everybody in Martinaise. You got drunk as a skunk, you flashed your "cool gun" around, you made suicide jokes with this aformentioned cool gun. And you told your coworkers to "fuck off" for "cramping your style." You are, by all means, a drunken fool. You've lost your badge, you've lost your gun.
